About Me

I’m an anthropologist who is rather fascinated by the way the economy works and how it affects and changes the people. The economy can influence people in small and big ways- and it does not matter if they know about it or not. This blog is accumulation of economics news and theories I find relevant and interesting. I am rather opinionated, so that will drive the theme of this blog.

I have done a number of different things in my life. I’ve majored in three subjects, hold two masters degrees and I’m thinking of pursuing a PhD too. I have traveled to really remote locations all around the world, and I’ve got caught in a number of stupid situations as well.

I am married to a fellow anthropologist and childhood sweetheart, Karen. We have one son who is about to start school soon, and is obsessed with Harry Potter and Lego blocks.
